  13. REGISTRATION ENTITLES YOU TO THE FOLLOWING :

  17.   you will be provided with the appropriate id and fax number
  18.   to contact for support.

  20. - Update versions with fixes as they are released. Note all
  21.   fixes versions will have the version number 1.n .

  118. Brian Risman Associates provides these programs and licenses
  119. their use. You assume responsibility for selection of these
  120. programs for your purposes, and for the installation, use, and
  121. results from use of these programs. This software is licensed to
  122. you for use as follows :

  124.     1. You may use the programs on a single machine.
  125.  
  126.     2. You may copy the programs for the sole purpose of backup  
  127.        in support of their use on a single machine.
  128.  
  129.     3. All copies made must include the copyright notice.
  130.  
  131.     4. You may transfer the programs and license to another party
  132.        if the other party agrees to accept the terms and         
  133.        conditions of this Agreement.

  135.     5. If you transfer the program you must, at the same time,   
  136.        transfer all copies of the program or destroy any copies
  137.        not transferred.

  139.     6. YOU MAY NOT USE, COPY, OR TRANSFER THE PROGRAMS OR ANY    
  140.        COPY IN WHOLE OR PART, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED FOR IN
  141.        THIS LICENSE. IF YOU TRANSFER POSSESSION OF ANY COPY
  142.        TO ANOTHER PARTY, YOUR LICENSE IS AUTOMATICALLY           
  143.        TERMINATED.

  145.     7. This license shall be construed, interpreted, and governed
  146.        by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the Federal
  147.        Government of Canada as applied in the Province of       
  148.        Ontario.

  150. This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate the
  151. license by destroying the programs together with all copies in
  152. any form. This license will also be terminated if you fail to
  153. comply with any term or condition of this license. You agree upon
  154. such termination to return the programs together will all the
  155. copies to Brian Risman
  156. Associates and the purchaser shall be liable for any and all
  157. damages suffered as a result of the violation or default. You may
  158. not sub-license, assign or transfer the programs or any rights
  159. under this license to any third party except as permitted under
  160. this license. Any attempt otherwise to sub-license, assign, or
  161. transfer the programs or any rights under the license is void. R I S K I T  1.0  (TM)
  162.                         Limited Warranty

  164. These programs are a product of Brian Risman Associates.
  165.  
  166. The programs contained in this package are provided "AS IS"
  167. without warranty of any kind, either express or implied,
  168. including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchant
  169. ability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk
  170. related to the quality and performance of the programs is on you.
  171. In the event there is any defect, you assume the entire cost of
  172. all necessary servicing, repair or correction. Some states do not
  173. allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above
  174. exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
  175. legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from
  176. state to state.

  178. Brian Risman Associates does not warrant that the functions
  179. contained within the programs will meet your requirements or that
  180. the operation of the programs will be uninterrupted or error-
  181. free. Brian Risman Associates warrants the diskettes on which the
  182. programs are furnished to be free from defects in the materials
  183. and workmanship under normal use for a period of thirty (30) days
  184. from the date of delivery to you as evidenced by a copy of your
  185. receipt. The entire liability of Brian Risman Associates and your
  186. exclusive remedy shall be replacement of any diskette which does
  187. not meet the Limited Warranty and which is returned to Brian
  188. Risman Associates.

  190. IN NO EVENT WILL BRIAN RISMAN ASSOCIATES BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY
  191. DAMAGES (INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS, OR OTHER
  192. INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES EVEN IF BRIAN RISMAN
  193. ASSOCIATES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES)
  194. OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY OTHER PARTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE
  195. LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR
  196. CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION MAY
  197. NOT APPLY TO YOU.

  199. This agreement constitutes the complete and exclusive statement
  200. of the terms of the agreement between you and Brian Risman
  201. Associates. This agreement supersedes and replaces any previous
  202. written or oral agreement and communications relating to this
  203. software. No oral or written information of advice given by Brian
  204. Risman Associates, its dealers, distributors, agents or employees
  205. will create any warranty or in any way increase the scope of the
  206. warranty provided in this agreement, you may not rely on any
  207. information or advice.

  262. RISKIT 1.0 (TM) is a computer program run on the IBM PC and true
  263. compatibles, which lets computer (EDP) auditors, military or
  264. safety organizations such as police to organize and assess their
  265. analysis of the potential risks in one or more computer
  266. installations.

  268. RISKIT 1.0 (TM) is a tool for use by those are engaged in the
  269. assessment of the risks facing the EDP environment. Multiple
  270. studies, and sub-studies, can be carried out at the same time on
  271. RISKIT 1.0 (TM).

  273. RISKIT 1.0 (TM) automates the Risk Analysis Process --
  274. IDENTIFYING Risks, MEASURING the Likelihood and Impact of Loss,
  275. and CONTROLLING risk by building Action Plans.
